Shown here is a strange thing that turned up in a photo in Grand Central Station, a photo that for some reason was out of focus.
Below is a closeup of the strange shape.
I am unable to classify this object at this time. It could conceivably be a bird or insect, although it looks like neither. Some people photograph things like these, and classify them as fairies or angels. For now I will merely label it as a "miscellaneous luminous anomaly."
