Empire State Enigma

The photo below shows the Empire State Building in New York City. We see a big bright white orb that seems to be floating near the top of the building.  This was not the moon, which was only a half-moon on this night.  The object wasn't visible in several photos taken from the same angle.

There was no fog,mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good" with a rating of 21, and the pollen count listed on pollen.com was medium, with a level of 6.1.
