How to Unveil the Sky Secrets

Photo date: January 30, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

The photo below shows some strange orbs floating above a pole on a street in New York City. One of the orbs is green, and a larger one is purple.

How can you unveil such sky secrets?  Buy a full-spectrum camera. You can get one for as little as $150. An ordinary camera deliberately filters out the infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum. By using such a camera, you are like someone wearing horse blinders -- you are filtering out an important part of reality.  Use a full-spectrum camera to get the full story told by the sky.

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good."  The pollen count listed on pollen.com was very low, with a level of only 0.1.
