Like a Ghost and a Bird

Photo date: May 7, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  At the bottom we see one of the things I call orb veils. This is an example of one of 18 types of orb veils I have identified, what I call the "cape-like" type, which resembles a child's drawing of a ghost. At the top we see another orb veil which rather resembles a bird. We can even see a "bird leg" coming out of this "bird."

On the same day I got this other photo of orb veils, which shows the "stacking" behavior so often seen with these things...

...something also shown in this photo from the same day.
