A Speeding Pink Orb
Orb Rings
The grid below shows various photos I have taken of the strange things I call orb rings.
All of the photos were taken while photographing nothing but ordinary
drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless
background. I have no idea why these ring-like structures appear, and
their appearance while photographing water drops seems highly anomalous. See here for a similar grid.

A New Orb Video
T. Gorman has a new 11-minute video on Youtube.com, compiling orb photos she has taken. The video shows orbs in many colors. At 4:05 in the video, she has an example of a moving orb showing the "string of pearls" effect I have repeatedly photographed, in which we seem to see multiple position states of a speeding orb. At 5:00 in the video, we start to see many examples of the phenomenon I call ecto-mist, but which are also called "lightwaves." You can see the video here.

The photo shows a group of mysterious orbs I photographed in Grand Central Terminal in New York. The one at the top right appears to be moving fast.
I get at this place a high amount of what I call "vertical bias" in the positioning of orbs. The orbs do not at all appear randomly scattered across the picture area. Instead, the photos show 90% of the orbs in the upper part of the photo area, with very few in the lower part of the photo area. See here for 49 examples of this type of "vertical bias."

The Tablet's Spooky Behavior
Since last August I have witnessed an extremely strange thing happening ten different times. It always happens like this:
(1) While my Samsung tablet device is turned off, and leaning against a wall recharging, the flashlight at the back of the tablet will turn on all by itself (something you think would be impossible, since the tablet is turned off). This will occur hours after I plugged in the tablet to recharge.
(2) A few seconds after I pull out the recharging chord, the flashlight turns off.
(3) I swipe my finger against the tablet, seeing nothing on the screen, verifying that the tablet is really turned off.
(4) I then turn on the tablet, and it starts up normally.
I have used the Samsung tablet every day for more than a year, but the event described above has only happened on these days:

You can see a video showing one of these cases here. Searching on the Internet, I am unable to find any case of someone who has experienced something similar. There was never any type of physical interaction that might have caused these cases; in each case, the tablet was more than two meters away from me when the flashlight turned on.
The flashlight at the back of the tablet is software-driven, and cannot be turned on by a button press. I know of no way to turn on the flashlight at the back of the tablet when the tablet is turned off.
