The Transparent Orb's Triple Alignment

The photo below shows a transparent orb I photographed in Grand Central Terminal in New York. The left of the orb is aligned to a black surface; the top of the orb is aligned to the top of a light; and the bottom of the orb is aligned to the bottom of a light. I have photographed aligning orbs hundreds of times at this location, as shown here.

Triple Alignment of the Blue Orbs

I took the photo below at Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see three alignments here. The top orb is aligned to the bottom orb; the top orb is aligned to an architectural line; and the bottom orb is also aligned to an architectural line. I have long noticed a tendency for orbs to align to architectural lines at this location. I don't see most orbs aligning in such a way, but I do see alignments occurring much more often than I would expect to see by chance (see here for 140+ examples). Accentuating the weirdness is a big stripe on the top orb; it is the 130th striped orb I have photographed in the air. I am seeing such stripes appearing more and more often in my photos of orbs (as you can see here).

The photo below shows an orb next to the flag in Grand Central Terminal in New York. This orb has pulled off a kind of "trifecta of alignment." Its left edge is aligned with the flag; its right edge is aligned with a large architectural line; and its bottom is aligned with another line. The photo to the right was the previous photo taken just before the photo on the left was taken.

This is the 28th time I have photographed an orb exactly aligned to the edge of the flag in Grand Central Terminal. See here for 27 previous examples of orbs aligned to the edge of this flag.
