The photo below was taken while photographing pure, clean water drops falling against a dark background. We see some of the mysterious things I call orb crescents, along with the equally mysterious things I call orb veils (although other photos on this site show far more dramatic orb veils). The orb crescent in the middle has pulled quite a hat trick: it has somehow managed to be four different colors (blue, green, yellow, and orange).
