Like the Moon Above a Mountain

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  We see many orbs with a pattern that looks rather like the moon floating above a mountain.

"Head and Shoulders" Pattern Persisted Through a Thousand Photos (Part 2)

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  On this day I got thousands of occurrences of a "head and shoulders" pattern that persisted through most of 1000+ consecutive photos.  This is the sixth day I have got a pattern of this type (see here for other examples).
