Rather Like an Orange Ghost

We see below a light anomaly I photographed indoors. We have six protrusions from a central shape, and it's not too hard to imagine the top one being a head, the middle two or three as arms, and the bottom two as legs.  You almost get the suspicion that some burst of energy was trying to make a human shape.

Sometimes when I photograph in Grand Central Terminal my photos show anomalous figures that are hard to explain. Here is one such figure, who seems to be lacking any solid head (although we can see the paper thing he is holding very clearly).

The Weird Orb Pointed to Something Weirder

In the photo below I took in Grand Central Terminal, we see a blue orb that seems to have a kind of pointy bottom.

Below the orb is something even weirder. We see faintly what looks rather like some strange ghostly face with two eyes and a mouth.

The photos below shows a strange anomaly I photographed at Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a strange blue blob. The left part of it rather seems to have an eerie face, looking down and to the left.

A Bearded Ghost?

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see a strange figure that seems to have a glowing translucent look. It looks like some ghostly man with a beard.

Wave of the Ghost?

The unaltered photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York, and shows a figure standing on the West Balcony of  the station.  The figure looks almost like some ghost waving his hand.

On the same balcony I photographed the interesting-looking figure below, one that seems to have huge black eyes.

I informally call the West Balcony of Grand Central Terminal "the ghost balcony," because when photographing it from the East Balcony I often see in my photos what looks like ghostly-looking things on the West Balcony.  Below is another example from December 11. We seem to see some weird luminous figures in the middle, with some dark shadowy figures below them.

Bright Orb Above the Spooky Balcony

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.   We see a vivid blue orb near the top of the photo.

I have long noticed the strange effect that when I zoom in on the middle balcony shown here, I will often see in the photo what looks like ghostly-looking figures. Below is a closeup from the photo above that shows such an effect.

Moving Orb Seems to Bounce Near "Tree Branch" Figure

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see the famous circular information desk at the center of this great station.  On the roof of that desk there is something very strange. It looks like a speeding blue orb, one that almost seems to have hit the top of the desk roof, and bounced.  Below that anomaly, we see another very strange anomaly. There is a figure that looks like some strange leafless tree branch.  If the picture were blurred, we could write this off as just something caused by a blurred photo. But the rest of the picture is quite sharp (note that we can clearly see the time was 8:05).

"Headless Blob" Shows Its Digital Device

The unaltered photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. Next to the famous circular information desk at the center of the station, we see two figures. One of the figures is apparently showing its digital device to another figure. What is strange is that we can see no human head on the right figure, which appears as a dark blob.

You might try to explain this as a lack of photo definition, but that explanation does not work, because there is quite good photo definition on the left part of the photo, where we see several details sharp and crisp.

Could it be that some weird ghostly cloud has surrounded the right figure's head, blocking the camera's view of the head?

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a blue orb on the right. In the bottom left we see a strange mysterious figure that seems to have ghostly legs, a ghostly thorax, and a ghostly head.

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. At the top we see a bright blue orb.

Below is a closeup of the bottom of the photo (I used the IrfanView "Auto-adjust colors" menu option on the closeup). We see some strange ghostly-looking figure.

Could it be that when an orb is photographed, the camera somehow captures realities we cannot see with our eyes -- not just orbs, but other strange spiritual realities?

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York City. We see at the top of the photo a bright blue orb with a vivid color (right click to see the photo at its full resolution).

A closeup of the bottom left corner of this photo shows something that looks very strange.  We see on the right top part of the photo what looks rather like some translucent white ghost that is mingling with some of the people.

Blue Orb Floats Next to the Spooky Figure

The unaltered photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a bright blue orb that is surrounded by some anomalous figures, and the figure to the right of the orb seems to have the body of a man and the head of some type of apparition.  Maybe it's just some strange trick of the light, but it sure has a spooky look.

The Blue Orb and the Ghostly Weirdness

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a mysterious blue orb at the top of the photo.

Directly below the orb, we some bizarre sights. To the left of the figure at the top we seem to see what looks rather like a smiling ghostly figure that is waving its left hand. On the right we can seem to see some strange image on the floor, a long floor that normally appears featureless.  It looks rather like the long tresses that might surround a woman's face.

Mr. Faint Face

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York. We see a mysterious orb floating above the window.

Below is a closeup of the orb (I used the IrfanView "Auto-adjust colors" menu option on the closeup).  We seem to see a faint face that includes two eyes, a nose, and a mouth.

The top photo also shows some strange anomaly on the staircase. Perhaps it is a trick of the light, but we seem to some strange ghostly shape on the stairs.

Purple Orb Above the Ghostly Head

We also see something very strange on the stairway. There is what looks like some strange ghostly head.

Bright at the Top, Ghostly at the Bottom

In the photo below taken at Grand Central Station in New York, we see a mysterious bright blue orb at the top of the photo. Right-click to see the photo at its full resolution.

The human figures can be seen rather clearly, except for one figure at the bottom, who has a kind of ghostly appearance. The figure is seen at the very bottom of the photo below.

So we have the paradox of why an orb would appear in a photo far more bright and distinct than this particular phantom-like figure.

Orb "Odin" Seems to Watch From Above

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York. We see what looks like a one-eyed orb (reminding me of the Norse legend of the one-eyed god Odin).

Below is a strange detail from the lower right part of the photo above. I used the IrfanView "Auto-adjust colors" menu option on this closeup.

I get these type of strange details very frequently in my photos taken at this location.  You can see them in abundance by right-clicking on the photos I have taken at Grand Central Station, opening the photo in a new tab, loading the resulting image into an image editor, and then zooming in on the small details. In this example we seem to see a kind of ghostly grinning face near the middle of the closeup.

She Walks in Ghostly Beauty

The unaltered photo below was taken in Grand Central Station in New York.  We see an eerie-looking scene. Opposite some high weirdness on the left edge of the photo,  we see on the right edge of the photo what looks like a ghostly woman. Is this a real ghost, or some strange photographic anomaly?
