Orb Veils With Strange Stripes

Below is a photo I took while photographing nothing but ordinary pure, clean water drops falling against a dark background.  We see two examples of the strange things I call orb veils. The bottom one has two strange stripes. The top one (which has a kind of folded look to it) also has a stripe. I have photographed more than 150 mysterious orbs with stripes, but I also sometimes get stripes on these wispy orb veils (you can see 13 examples here).  The bottom object had an apparent width of about 4 inches.

Below are two closeups from a single photo I took while photographing nothing but ordinary pure, clean water drops falling against a dark background. On the left we see some inexplicable stripes appearing amidst wispy veil-like strangeness. On the right we see mysterious crescents mingling with triangular veil shapes.

Items for a Ghost to Wear?

The photos below were taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see gossamer-like items that almost look like clothing. The first item looks like some weird scarf, and even has strange intersecting lines. The second items looks like a sheer skirt.

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some of the strange things I call orb veils. This particular photo kind of "runs the gamut" by showing three divergent forms of weirdness. On the top are strange things I can't describe. On the left are some wispy gossamer-type things. At the bottom is a weird thing that kind of looks like a ghost inside a ghost.

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some of the strange things I call orb veils. The photo shows an area about 6 inches in height. Notice how transparent the orb veil at the bottom is: you can look right through it to see another orb veil behind it.

An Orange Bezier Curve and Its Weird Clone

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some of the strange things I call orb veils. The two in the back seem like examples of what mathematicians call Bezier curves.  I see these kind of congruent stacks frequently when photographing orb veils (as you can see here).  The orange orb veil had a height of about 4 inches.

Like a Beggar's Tattered Robe

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the strange things I call orb veils. I often see circular spots in these things, but I have never photographed one that looks as tattered as this one, which had a height of about 4 inches.

The Weird Letter

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  We see an example of what I call an orb veil. These mysterious things normally take various polygon shapes, but sometimes appear as spheres, as in this case.  The object had a size of about 5 inches. What is very strange here is that we see the letter "V" inside the sphere of the orb veil.

Does the "E" Stand for Enigmatic?

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see three hard-to-explain things. The first is the wispy polygon, which had an apparent width of about 5 inches. It's an example of what I call orb veils. Then there are the strange crescent-shaped objects. But there's one other anomaly in the top right corner: something shaped like a small letter "E."

A Weird "7" in an Orb Veil

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  We see another example of the strange spiky things I call orb veils.  This one seems to have the number 7 inside it.  Remembering the concept of "lucky seven," I'll count it as a good omen.

Weird Colors of the Christmas Enigmas

The photos below were taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. The first one shows one of the strange objects I call orb veils. This one has colored stripes.

On the same day I photographed this orb veil, which has a strange "butter pecan" look to it.

18 Types of Orb Veils

Having often photographed a mysterious anomaly I call orb veils, I have created the composite photo below showing different types of the objects.  The composite photo is a large 2542 by 1187 photo, and to see it at anything close to its original resolution, you will need to click on the image to open it in a separate browser tab. The descriptions are pretty self-explanatory, except for "reappearing," which refers to this type of orb veil. 

The orb veils shown here were each individually shown in previous posts, and to find the full original photo you can browse through this series of posts.  These objects had an average apparent size of about 4 inches.

The photo below (from December 25, 2015) is a new photo of an orb veil. Using the categories listed above, this would probably be classified as a "spiky" orb veil.

Orb Crescents Mingle With an Orb Veil

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see two types of hard-to-explain anomalies. The first is a mysterious type of object I call an orb veil. The one here has the spiky outer points that so often are seen in orb veils.  Near this strange object are quite a few equally hard-to-explain objects I call orb crescents, one of which is orange (about 15 others have a white color).

Nearly Circular Orb Veils

 The photos below were taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.

 The strange objects I call orb veils typically have spiky points on their edges, as show in this example from April 6, 2015...

... or in this photo from August 16, 2015.

But occasionally these orb veils will appear with an almost perfectly circular appearance, as in this example from March 29, 2015 (the object was about 4 inches in apparent width).

Below is another example from Oct 13, 2015, showing another object that appeared about 5 inches in width.

In both of these examples we see straight edges showing that we are not dealing with any type of bubble here (which would be perfectly round).  The water being photographed had no soap whatsoever in it.
