I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. We see a four-part pattern consisting of four holes.

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  We see orbs that all have a four-part pattern, making them look like buttons. The pattern persisted through almost all of 400 consecutive photos.
