Crescent Orbs, Half Orbs, and Congruent "Orb Veils"

The photo below shows mysterious anomalies produced while photographing water drops. Rather than the usual circular orbs I see when photographing water drops,  the photo shows instead "half orbs" and crescent orbs (look closely to see the crescent shapes).  The most startling feature is a pair of "orb veils," one on top of the other. Both seem to have the same distinctive shape.  See my posts labeled "orb veils" for similar photos of this weird effect.

I have several times noticed one of the features we see above in one of the orb veils-- an internal ring shape consisting of 2 concentric rings. The orb veil also has the spiky arc-like features on its edges that I often see in these orb veils.

Below we see a photo taken while photographing ordinary water drops against a dark background. Once again we see the strange phenomenon I call orb veils (others use the term "plasma veils" for the same phenomenon).  When such things appear, I often see one of the "orb veils" have an orange color, but this is the first time I have seen one have a yellow color.

Currently if you do a Google image search for "orb veils," you will see more of my photos than any other photographer's photos. I get these feathery "orb veils" while photographing water drops. But I am not the only photographer getting these strange things. If you look at this photo stream, you will find other examples of orb veils photographed by another photographer (such as this photo, and this photo showing the same "veil stacking" phenomenon I have captured in my posts labeled "stack of orb veils," along with this photo also showing stacks of orb veils).

Another photographer who has captured these "orb veils" is Andrea at the "Orb Goddess" site. On this page of her site, she has some "orb veil" photos that look very much like my own photos of orb veils.  She calls one of these a "shellfish orb."

These photos by these photographers are not even taken while photographing water drops. They show that these "orb veils" are not at all splashes of water.  They are every bit as inexplicable as the crescent-shaped orbs that so often appear next to them, and skeptics have no explanation for either of these things.

I sometimes get these orb veils (which some people call plasma veils) appearing in a solid orange color. In the photo here,  Diana Davatgar has photographed floating in the air an orange orb veil that looks remarkably like the orb veils I have photographed: the same pointy edges, and the same little circles within the veil.

Ghostly Globs of Mysterious Energy

The photo below shows a very strange anomaly that I call an orb veil, for lack of a better term. The photo was taken while simply photographing ordinary water drops falling against a dark background. We see not only this anomaly but the equally inexplicable anomaly of orb crescents (which we see in the bottom right corner of the photo). See my posts labeled "orb veils" and "orb crescents" for other examples of these strange phenomena, some of which show the "veils" arranged in congruent stacks with as many as 7 veils in a congruent stack.

The "veils" are not at all sheets of water, as I was pouring water drops from a container that only allowed a few water drops to fall at any one time.  The main objects shown here had an apparent width of about 4 inches.

A "Stack" of 8 Congruent Orb Veils

The astonishing photo below was taken while photographing ordinary water drops against a dark background.  I have quite a few posts on this blog showing inexplicable objects I call orb veils, but it is very rare to see them stacked up like this with such parallelism and congruence.  I know of no natural hypothesis that can explain a photo like this. The apparent width of these objects was about four inches.

Day of the Ghostly Veils

I had great success today getting what I call orb veils while photographing falling water drops. Below is an example. Nothing was being photographed other than ordinary water drops falling against a dark background.

In this picture we see a threefold congruence of the orb veils in the top left corner. But another photo I took today shows a  seven-fold congruence (a stack of 7 orb veils, each with the same distinctive shape); and still another photo I took today shows an eight-fold congruence of the orb veils.  Keep coming here to see the astonishing results, which I will post in the next week.

I know of no known natural hypothesis to explain photos like the one above.  The largest orb veil had an apparent size of about 3 inches. See my posts labeled "orb veils" for similar photos.

Weird Column of "Veils" Observed in Water Drop Photo

In the book "The Orb Project" by Miceal Ledwith and Klaus Heinemann, PhD, it says this on page 46 about a rare effect when photographing orbs: "Occasionally objects that resemble graceful drapes of fine cloth appear in attractive formations."

I seem to have captured just such an effect in the photo below, which was taken when photographing water drops. It shows an extremely odd anomalous effect that I am for the moment labeling as an "orb veil."  We certainly seem to have a "formation" here, with 3 nearly identical mysterious objects bunched up in stack.  They almost look like a row of strange creatures extending their arms.

Below is a closeup of the top left. We seem to see 1 or 2 mysterious eyes.
