Pure Water Yields Puzzling Photos

The photos below were taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. The first one shows a bunch of orbs in a water drop. The one on the left corner deserves a close-up.
Here is that closeup of the top left corner. You might call this little guy "Mr. Rainbow Face."
The same day I got this photo of what I call an orb veil. This one was quite big, with a height of about 6 inches. Note the yellow crescent shape and the blue crescent shapes in the water drop above the orb veil.
It is actually rare for me to get one of these orb veils with a shape like this. I far more often photograph them appearing as strange polygons, as shown in this composite visual, and the photo below from December 26, 2015.

Colorful Orb Veil Is Orange, Green and Purple

Rectangular Orb Veil With an Outer "Membrane"

The previously unpublished photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils, which typically have a weird combination of curved edges and spiky edges. But this one has an almost rectangular shape. Along three-fourths of the outer perimeter of this orb veil there seems to be a kind of outer membrane like the outer membrane of a cell. The same thing is shown in this series of photos.
Speaking of orb veils, while looking at the "Orb Goddess" website I noticed this photo. It shows the same type of thing I call orb veils, and we see in that photo an extremely distinctive feature: a pair of concentric rings inside the object. It's the same very distinctive feature I show in this series of 21 posts. Plus the object in that photo has the same type of combination of curved outer edges and spiky edges that I so typically get in my photos of orb veils.

Rings and Lines Inside an Orb Veil

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils. This one has some very visible examples of two of the features I often see in these strange objects. In the top right part of the object, we see a very clear pair of concentric rings. Also, the entire figure has within it a line that matches the shape of the object -- something resembling the outer membrane of a cell.
The internal rings here are even larger than in my previously published diagram showing a common appearance of such an object.

Duplication of the Mysterious Blue Orb Veil

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see two of the mysterious objects I call orb veils. These two examples are both blue-colored, not a common color for these objects (which most commonly appear with colors of white or orange as shown in these 19 examples). The two orb veils seem to have exactly the same shape. It's yet another example of a congruent stack of orb veils, something also shown in these 20 examples. We also see a blue orb crescent. It was quite astonishing this morning. I photographed 7 different cases of double orb veils like this, in each case seeing a congruent duplication of the shapes. I'll post the other pictures in forthcoming posts.

Mysterious Shield Shapes, One Yellow

Below we see a photo taken while photographing ordinary water drops against a dark background. Once again we see the strange phenomenon I call orb veils (others use the term "plasma veils" for the same phenomenon). When such things appear, I often see one of the "orb veils" have an orange color, but this is the first time I have seen one have a yellow color.

A Congruent Stack of Orb Veils

Using the search phrase "spirit orb" I found several Facebook pages and communities dealing with orbs. One of the better sites I found was the site with this interesting photo stream (which I am adding to my list of links showing paranormal photos by others). Looking at the photos in that photo stream, I was fascinated to find some of the same things I have shown on this blog.
For example, here is one of my photos of what I call orb veils and orb crescents. The orb crescents are shown at the top; the orb veils are in the middle.
Now what is fascinating is that when I look at the photo stream referred to above, I find some photos taken in 2014 very similar to my photos like the one above.
Here is one such photo (I will not show it directly because my policy on this site is to only show photos I took myself). In that photo there are extremely unusual characteristics very similar to what we see in my photo above: the "stack" of orb veils, each with multiple spike-like edges, and also the appearance of the inexplicable crescent shapes.
Check out the link at the top of this page for some spectacular photos of these "orb veils." I congratulate whoever took the photo linked to above, who has "scooped" me on this topic, capturing this phenomenon before I did.

Day of the Ghostly Veils

I had great success today getting what I call orb veils while photographing falling water drops. Below is an example. Nothing was being photographed other than ordinary water drops falling against a dark background.
In this picture we see a threefold congruence of the orb veils in the top left corner. But another photo I took today shows a seven-fold congruence (a stack of 7 orb veils, each with the same distinctive shape); and still another photo I took today shows an eight-fold congruence of the orb veils. Keep coming here to see the astonishing results, which I will post in the next week.
I know of no known natural hypothesis to explain photos like the one above. The largest orb veil had an apparent size of about 3 inches. See my posts labeled "orb veils" for similar photos.
