He Said He Recently Saw a Spooky Foot-Sized Orb in His House

 The site "Stan Gordon's UFO Anomalies Zone" recently gave this account from a witness who told it to Stan, telling him it occurred on August 25, 2025:

"That is when the witness observed a round ball of light, about ten to twelve inches in diameter, about 8-10 feet distance from him. The object was motionless and hovering about three to four feet above the floor near the window.

The object itself looked whitish gray in color and seemed translucent especially in the outer edge area. In the center area of the object there what looked like pulses of static electricity, or lightning bolts that were whitish blue in color.

Seconds later the object just vanished. The witness thought this was possibly due to the object sensing that he was close by. Moments later from outside by the window there was a bright glow illuminating that area. There were blinds on the window so he could not see the source.

The witness quickly opened the back door and looked out. There were no cars in that area, and the glow had vanished. The sighting only lasted a few seconds. No odd smell or sound reported."

The article includes a sketch by the witness, showing a foot-sized sphere with little pulses of energy coming from it, rather like the little spikes that protrude from a lightning bolt.  Stan says this:

"These mystery orbs also have a history of being observed by researchers and witnesses in wooded locations that have a history of Bigfoot activity. I have been receiving reports for years on similar occurrences taking place around the country from Bigfoot investigators."

A Bigfoot Morphing Into an Orb?

 In his "Mysterious Universe" post "Strange Lights in the Sky: Secret Experiments or Living Beings?" Nick Redfern discusses some visual sightings of orbs:

"It didn’t appear to be a solid, nuts-and-bolts aircraft of some sort. Rather, it was a ball of light, around five times the size of an average traffic light...He could only sit and stare as the pair of lights bobbed in the air, like floating beach-balls. Suddenly, there was a development; an astounding one. As Angelucci looked on, a voice emanated from one of the balls....Running through the heart of the Big Thicket is a long, thin, and incredibly sandy old road called Bragg Road. That’s not what the locals call it, though. To them, it is known as Ghost Light Road. There is a very good reason for this: for at least three centuries, people have reported seeing weird, small balls of light flitting through the trees late at night. But, we’re not talking about anything quite as down to earth as fireflies. These particular lights vary in size from – approximately – a tennis ball to a beach ball. They also exhibit evidence of intelligence: witnesses describe the lights approaching them, even circling them, in what is occasionally perceived as a playful fashion."

The strangest part of the article is below:

"A small body of individuals have sworn that the large cats and the hairy humanoids – when spotted by the astonished and sometimes terrified onlookers – vanished before their eyes. We’re not talking about them making hasty getaways into the woods. Rather, we are talking about the 'animals' – in an instant – changing form from big cat and Bigfoot to a small, brightly-lit globe of light."
