Orb Faces on a Window

On this day I took a flash photo of a window on a rainy day, a window which had lots of water drops. I seemed to get a nice little crop of orb faces. The gamma correction has been slightly reduced in this flash photo.

This is an unaltered photo of raindrops on a window pane. If you look very closely, you can seem to see orb faces in most of the water drops. The best way to view the photo is by loading it into an image editor and zooming in to see the details.

A variation of the water face effect is that I get orb faces in my photos of water drops, even when I take pictures of rain drops on my window pane. Below is an example.
