"Bitten" Orbs

I took the photo below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some strange orb shapes that each has a chunk missing on the left side. The photo reminds me of the wasteful child who took six "one sixth" bites out of six cookies, rather than just eating a single cookie.

Who Took a Bite Out of Them?

The photos below show various mysterious orbs I photographed during June and July of 2017. They all look as if someone chomped a bite out of them.

Even the "Chopped" Orbs Are Smiling

The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background.  We see a water drop that seems to have in quite a few orb faces. Such faces appear whenever I photograph water drops with a particular camera, but the faces normally appear as round orbs. In this photo some of the orbs have a "chopped" look, as if the right part of them had been chopped off. But they all seem to be smiling, nonetheless.

"Bitten" Orbs and Orb Crescents

The photo below was taken while photographing pure, clean water against a dark background.

At the bottom we see what I call orb crescents, crescent shapes that have no business being here-- how can such shapes appear when I was only photographing water drops?  At the top of the photo we see a water drop that has quite a few of what I call bitten orbs -- orbs that look like someone took a bite out of their top corner.

Mysterious Crescents in a Water Drip

The photo below shows water drops -- pure, clean water. At the top and bottom seem to be orbs pretty much like the water drop orbs shown in many posts on this blog -- except that it looks like someone has taken a big bite out of them.  Near the middle of the photo we see a strange looking group of colorful crescent shapes.

In this water drop photo showing the amazing water face effect, we see a very strange result in which many of the orbs in water seem to have a "bitten" appearance, as if someone has been chomping on them. But the orbs don't seem to mind -- they're still smiling, just as they always do when I photograph them in water drops.
