Halloween "Spirit Presence" Test Gives Spooky Reading

While sorting out some old odds-and-ends of my children, my wife found a little electronic motion detector gizmo.  If you turn the device on, and move in front of the beam sent out by the device, the device will give off an alarm.

I decided to use this device in a kind of primitive "spirit presence" test. I turned on the device, and placed it on a window sill. I pointed the device towards a wall about one meter away from the device.  Given such a position, the only way a human could set off the alarm would be if they placed their body or part of it in the small space between the window sill and the wall.

The alarm went off several times in the hour after I started this test, even though nothing visible moved in the small space between the window sill and the wall, or within two meters of such a space.  I tried moving within a meter of the device, and this did not set the device off.  I could only set off the alarm by placing my hand in the small space between the window sill and the wall.  There were no flying insects in the house.  The alarm did not go off in the second hour.  Sudden changes of lighting (such as turning on a light in a dark room or using a camera flash near the detector) can cause such a detector to go off, but there was nothing like that when the alarm went off.

Postscript: In early November, I quite a few times heard this motion detector sounding its alarm unexpectedly, when there was no motion anywhere near it. Twice this occurred when I was in the bathroom, with two walls and twenty feet between myself and the detector, and no one else in that space.  The second time this happened I checked the radiator, to see whether it could conceivably be heat from the radiator causing the motion alarm to go off. But the radiator was not warm.

Varieties of "Orb Faces"

Photo date: October 29, 2019. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  We see a bunch of orbs that all have face-like details. Notice the variation in the "noses," ranging from none, to circular, to pointy.  Click here to see a video I took while photographing such anomalies.

On this day such mysterious orb faces appeared in more than a thousand photographs I took of ordinary drops of pure, clean water.  Below are two such anomalies that appeared together:

Camera Viewfinder Shows Spooky "Orb Faces" Real-Time

For years I have photographed mysterious "orb faces" appearing while I photographed only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling. You can see hundreds of these photographs here.  Yesterday October 29, 2019,  while photograping only ordinary drops of pure, clean water in front of a black featureless background, I took hundreds of consecutive photos that almost all showed mysterious face-like details in orbs.  Altogether I photographed more than 1000 "orb faces" yesterday.

Below are some of the photos I took.  Notice the strange center details that resemble pointy noses.

orb faces

To help demonstrate the authenticity of this astonishing phenomenon, I took a video of my camera's viewfinder as I was photographing these mysterious "orb faces." The video is shown below. In the video, you can clearly see the face-like details appear many times in the camera's viewfinder as I was photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.

You can use this link to watch the video in a separate tab.

There is no way to fake a video like the one you see above.  Using Photoshop (a product I have never used), a person can "photoshop" a photo, but there's no way to fake or "photoshop" what is displayed on the viewfinder of a modern camera such as the camera I used (the Sony A6000).  The viewfinder always shows what is front of the camera.  There is absolutely no way that a Sony A6000 user can manipulate the viewfinder so that it does not show what is front of the camera.  We can see in this video the viewfinder of the camera showing mysterious "orb faces" appearing many times in front of the camera, and that is exactly what must have been appearing in front of the camera.

Below is another video similar to the one above, showing my camera viewfinder while I photographed inexplicable "orb faces."

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.   We see some of the strange things I have occasionally photographed for years, what I call orb crescents.

Number in the Orb

The photo below shows a mysterious orb that I photographed indoors.

This is the fourth time I have photographed a "7" number inside a mysterious orb.  This repeating pattern is only the latest of 34 repeating patterns I have observed in mysterious orbs I have photographed in clean dry air.  You can see many examples of all of the patterns on this page.

Enigmatic Eighties: I Kept Getting Spooky Numbers

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  In the first three photos we see orbs that all have a kind of number 80 inside them.

"Snowman and Sun" Motif Appeared 1000+ Times

Photo date: October 23, 2019. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  On this day there started to appear a complex motif that I may call a "snowman and sun" motif. The left part of the motif looked like a snowman. The right part of the motif (the "sun" part) looked circular or oval. I saw this pattern more than 1000 times in hundreds of consecutive photos.  Below are four examples.

In the examples below, we see such a "snowman and sun" motif appear 9 or more times.
