We see below a mysterious orb I photographed indoors, one with a rather sock-shaped mark. 

 

The Holes and the "Hills"

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. We see very many orbs that all have inside them a hole with the same shape. Around such orbs appear many hill-shaped veil-like structures.

A Five-Part Orb Pattern (Part 2)

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  We see orbs that all have a five-part pattern. The pattern persisted through almost all of 600 consecutive photos.
