There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.
If you do a Google image search for "transparent orb," you'll see results dominated by commercial products. But if you do a you do a Google image search for "translucent orb," you should see quite a few of my photos (that is if you do the search on a PC, and get 200+ results on a page; you may get much fewer on a tablet). A Google image search for "speeding orb" on a PC will show many of my photos.

Girl Orb and Boy Orb?
Photo date: January 16, 2018. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
In the photo we see a pink orb and a blue orb, which rather create the impression of a cozy couple.

Dumbfounding Dopplegangers
Photo date: December 21, 2017. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows two mysterious orbs I photographed near a wreath in Grand Central Terminal in New York. Both have an identical appearance, showing the flat-edged type of orb I get in a very small percentage of cases (probably less than 1% of the time).

Valentine's Day Cuddle of the Sky Orbs?
Photo date: February 14, 2017. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
In the photo below (showing the sky above a building top) we see a blue sky orb that seems to be "this close" with a white sky orb. Was it some romantic action on Valentine's Day?
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a level of 38. The pollen count listed on pollen.com was "low," with a level of 0.6.

Fling of the Sky Orbs?
Photo date: December 9, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows two sky orbs I photographed above a building.
Below is a closeup. There are spots of red and green in the larger orb, which rather looks like it is getting physically intimate with the smaller orb.

Split Aura of a Blue Orb
Photo date: January 13, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a blue orb that seems to have a split aura -- half blue and half green. I often see these types of "split auras."
The photo is a closeup of the photo below, showing two orbs hanging out near a temporary advertising poster.

The Bright Floating Pair
Photo date: March 17, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a pair of bright white orbs floating above the crowd.
A closeup shows the smaller one looks like a "chip off the old block." Baby orb and mama orb, perhaps?

Mysterious "Sky Couples"
Sometimes when I photograph orbs in the sky, it almost seems like I'm photographing some intimately connected pair. Here is one such example from January 19, 2016.
Below is another example from January 14, 2016.
And speaking of orbs clinging together like parent and child, here is an indoor photo from January 7, 2016 showing such a thing. The orbs are between two of the windows.

Squirt of the "Snowman" Orb?
Photo date: December 4, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. Below we see an unusual sight of one orb on top of another (together the pair look like a snowman). The lower orb almost seems to be squirting something from its center. (I will leave it to others to make adolescent jokes about "hot orb on orb action.")

Mystery of the Purple Sky Pair
Photo date: November 13, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows some orbs above a building in New York City. One is yellow, but the largest orbs are a pair of purple orbs that seem to have their outer auras intermingled. Maybe it's some kind of weird orb intimacy.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 31.

Perplexing Pairs of Orbs
Sometimes orbs seems to appear in pairs, with only two orbs appearing in the photo, right next to each other. As in this photo of a New York tower (from October 19, 2015), taken on a dry night with very good air:
Another example is below, from October 23, 2015 (we see Grand Central Terminal).
We can only speculate as to whether some paranormal "buddy system" is at work here.

Paranormal Pair in the Sky
Photo date: October 7, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows two mysterious orbs above a building in New York City: one purple and one orange.
The previous photo (taken a few seconds earlier) was of a piece of cardboard at arm's length, and showed no orbs, suggesting that what I photographed was not anything floating near the camera.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 28.

Mystery Orbs Nuzzle Above the Eclipse
Photo date: September 27, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The bottom of this photo shows a lunar eclipse in progress. Directly above the eclipse, we see two orbs that seem to be nuzzling each other. They remind me of two lovers I saw on the street, who were kissing each other during the eclipse.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air
quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 24.

Orbs "Pair Up" Near the Green Orb
Photo date: July 24, 2015. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while pointing up at some towers in Manhattan. We see a mysterious green orb floating above a tower. We also see some other orbs that seem to be arranged non-randomly. Three or four of the orbs are in a line, and we seem to see two pairs of orbs that are very close to each other.
This blog shows hundreds of examples of air orbs with colors, colors we would not at all expect to see in dust particles floating near the camera. See my posts labeled "orange air orb" for 16 photos. See my posts labeled "pink air orb" for 35 photos. See my posts labeled "purple air orb" for 64 photos. See my posts labeled "yellow air orb" for 26 photos. See my posts labeled "blue air orb" for 107 photos. See my posts labeled "green air orb" for 33 photos.
