Orb Moving at 500 Miles an Hour?

 The US government has just released Tranche Six of its disclosure efforts related to UFOs and UAPs. Part of the release is the video you can see using the link here. We see a video showing what looks like a little white ball that is moving at extraordinary speeds. We read this: "An accompanying mission report, DOW-UAP-D107, described the UAP as “look[ing] like a white round orbit… moving as fast as 500 miles per hour.”

The little white ball appears quite small in the video. But it seems to be moving at amazing speeds.  I won't provide a screen shot (which will look unimpressive). But if you watch the video using the link above, you may say: "Wow." 

Spooky Stop

Today I  witnessed a stove fan turning off by itself while I was cooking some spaghetti, standing a few feet from the stove, with no one else near it. I have seen this anomaly at least five times before, and my post here describes something exactly the same occurring on March 22, 2025, when I was also cooking spaghetti, and on October 6, 2025. This mysterious turning off of the stove fan also occurred on March 16, 2024, as described here, when I was also cooking spaghetti, and on October 25, 2025, as described here, when I was also cooking spaghetti, and on April 18, 2026, as recorded here, when I was also cooking spaghetti.  My wife (who uses the stove many times  more often than I do) has never reported such an effect, and I have never seen it happen when she was cooking. 

There are fancy digital programmable range hoods that allow someone to program a shut off after a specified interval. But the range hood I have seems to be a simpler affair offering no such possibility. Its only control buttons are the ones shown below.

An interesting speculation is that some of these hard-to-explain events are examples of after-death communication from my late father. In five of the last six cases I have recorded of the stove fan mysteriously switching off,  we have a mysterious turning off of a green light on a panel while I was cooking pasta (spaghetti being a type of pasta).  Of course, those could all just be phonics coincidences. 

(The sense of the paragraph above may be lost to those reading a non-English translation of this page. In English the word "pa" means "father," and the words "panel" and "pasta"  all begin with the same syllable, which by itself means "father." But in other languages that may be different.)

Opening the links above, I find that one of those has my account of me having "out-of-nowhere" thoughts about two people I had not thought of in many years, with me then soon learning that such persons had died hours before I had such thoughts. 

Mysterious Blue Indoor Orbs: A Retrospective (Part 23)

Below is Part 23 of a retrospective showing some of the better photos I have taken indoors of mysterious blue orbs photographed indoors. 

The photo below shows a speeding blue orb I photographed in front of a window at Grand Central Terminal in New York. The camera seems to have captured two position states of a hurtling orb, and in both parts we can see the same curved stripe.  

The photo below shows a blue orb I photographed in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  Notice how the edge of the orb is aligned with the edge of two different heads. Was the orb reading both of their thoughts?

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York,  while my camera had jerked. We see that everything in the photo has that streaked-blur look, except for one thing: the mysterious blue orb in the top left corner, which shows no sign of blurring. I have noticed this tendency in six other photos shown here: even when everything in the photo is blurred because the camera had jerked, an orb may still appear sharp and non-blurred. It is as the mysterious orbs are ignoring the laws of optics, and playing by their own rules.

I took the photos below on January 11, 2017 and January 13, 2017. They both show blue orbs at Grand Central Terminal. Note that both orbs have a dark spot. Was this some type of orb eye?

 

I have more than 50 times previously photographed mysterious orbs aligned with the edge of a US flag, as you can see in this series of photos.  Below is one example of such an orb. I took the photo at Grand Central Terminal in New York.

Phantom Presses?

 In my 2018 post "It's Like Some Invisible Presence Is Pressing My TV Remotes," which you can read here, I documented quite a few cases in which my TV remote seemed to act as if some invisible presence had pressed a button on it. I have occasionally seemed to get such an effect during the years since 2018. 

In the past two days I seem to have got three new examples of such an effect.  Yesterday I was watching Netflix, in the middle of an episode, when suddenly Netflix disappeared, and my TV screen switched to a startup screen that I get when starting up my television, before choosing to watch Netflix. At the time I was alone in a room, with the TV remote inches away from my body. The exact same thing happened twenty minutes ago, with the TV remote an arm's length from my body. While watching Netflix, Netflix suddenly vanished, and my TV went back to its startup screen.  Then the exact same thing happened again for the second time today when I was writing this post. While watching Netflix, with the remote an arm's length away, Netflix suddenly vanished, and my TV went back to its startup screen.

This is the first time I can recall a spooky type of event happen when I was in the very process of writing a post about that type of spooky event. 

By experimenting, I figured out exactly which button on my TV remote can be pressed to produce this effect. It is the Home button, which has a little "House" icon on it. 

There is some possible metaphysical symbolism here. In near-death experiences people who report out-of-body experiences may have what seems like brief trips to some otherworldly realm. During such a sojourn a person will often report feeling that the visited realm is his or her "real home" or "true home." According to one theory, we all come from some nonearthly place that is our true home, and we lived in such a place before coming to Earth. 

So if some spirit from such a realm of existence were trying to signal someone on Earth, that spirit might choose some type of symbolism involving a Home symbol. 

Postscript: The same type of event happened on September 18, 2026.  Alone in a room, and sitting on the middle of a couch,  I was in the middle of watching a Halo episode on Netflix, with the remote an arm's length away from my body. Suddenly Netflix vanished, and my TV showed a startup screen that I get when I press the Home button on my TV remote. But I pressed no such button. The startup screen looks like the one below.

A Lesson I Learned From Being at Two World Trade Center Terror Attacks

Today is the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 destruction of the World Trade Center.  I was present at two different terror bombings of the World Trade Center in New York. The first occurred on February 26, 1993 at 12:17 PM. I had a 12:30 lunch date with the woman who was then my fiancee and is now my wife of 33 years. The lunch date was in the Sbarro's restaurant on the ground floor of the World Trade Center.

What occurred was an interesting illustration of how people will misidentify something they have never seen before, interpreting it as something they have seen before. Upon entering the World Trade Center, I saw a huge cloud of dust in its halls. A terrorist bomb had gone off a few minutes before I came in. At this time almost no one was thinking about any chance of terrorism in New York. So I did not at all think to myself: this must be a terrorist attack. Instead, I said something like, “Wow, I can't believe how careless those construction workers were – look at all the dust they kicked up.” Even with this huge cloud of dust in the halls, the food servers at Sbarro's kept trying to do their jobs. The police then told everyone to leave the building.

The first bombing of the World Trade Center did relatively little damage. People kind of said, “Those clumsy terrorists – their attempts at destruction are a joke.” Only a few years later, the people at the company where I was working had the idea of moving to a new building, and they chose the World Trade Center, which would turn out to be a horrible mistake. It's amazing how everyone paid little attention to a threat that had been clearly announced by the 1993 bombing.

I got into work at 7:00 AM on the morning of September 11, 2001, and took the elevator up to the fortieth floor of one of the two giant towers of the World Trade Center. I was completely absorbed in what I was doing on my computer when the first hijacked jet liner crashed into the building. There was a very loud noise, and a tremendous jolt, like some giant hand was shaking the whole building.

I jumped up to look out the window, and then immediately saw a huge fall of flaming debris. It looked rather like a huge chunk of the upper building was collapsing in flames. Terrified, I yelled at the top of my lungs, “Get the f*** out!” I then ran for the stairs.

As I started to run down the stairs, I had a fleeting thought that a nuclear bomb had exploded. People had long feared that someone would sneak a small nuclear bomb into the city. What I had witnessed up until this point was consistent with a small nuclear weapon going off at ground level.

My chances looked good after I had passed down a few flights of stairs. There was no one in front of me. Then I encountered some smoke on the stairs. I remember thinking: this is it, I'm going to die. But the smoke cleared as I passed down several floors lower. At some point I encountered lots of water pouring out into the stairway. But after passing down a few more floors, I passed through the part that was flooded.

Eventually the stairs started to fill up with people exiting the building, and the stairways become clogged with people. The downward flow of people stopped entirely. I thought to myself: what could be causing the delay? It turned out to be a delay caused by people letting firefighters walk up the stairs. What went on at this time made no sense from a safety standpoint. No one should have tried to walk up the stairs until they had become uncrowded, so that as many people as possible could have exited. I will never forget the worried, tired look of the brave firefighters as they walked up those stairs. Most of them never made it out.

Finally, after about 20 minutes, I got down to the ground floor. I was now in the elevator lobby of the World Trade Center. I looked in amazement at the elevator entrance doors. They were all charred and black, as if someone had torched them with a flame thrower. This could have been flames traveling down the elevator shaft.

I made it into the shopping mall area of the World Trade Center, and was drenched by sprinklers that had been activated by the fire. Finally I made it out of the building. When I looked up at the top of the building, I saw a huge column of black smoke rising up from the top of the building. I walked home all the way from lower Manhattan to the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens. While passing around the Times Square area, I saw some giant TV screen showing the World Trade Center buildings collapsing. I was dumbfounded. I thought the buildings would last for a thousand years.

I knew one person who died in the attack, a very smart young man named Scott. Scott first appeared on our work scene in a rather lowly position, but later I overheard him interviewing for a programming position in a cubicle near mine. I was amazed by what I heard – it was like he had an encyclopedic grasp of the technology we were using. I wasn't surprised at all when he was hired as a programmer, nor was I surprised when he started rising up in the company as a technical manager. Apparently he had risen rather high in the company by September 11, 2001, for he worked on one of the high floors of the World Trade Center where pretty much only the upper echelons worked. It was, tragically, a case of rising too fast and too high in the organization, because almost nobody on those highest floors of the World Trade Center made it out.

From my experience in the first of these World Trade Center terror attacks, I learned an important lesson described below: 

When you see something strange that looks like or seems to be some type of thing you have never experienced before, do not reflexively assume that it must merely be a type of thing you have seen before, but be very open to the possibility that you have just seen or experienced for the first time a type of event you have never experienced before. 

This principle comes in very handy when experiencing strange events that may be paranormal. Don't reflexively "sweep under the rug" such events by saying, "It must just be something like I've experienced before."  Record the strange event, ponder the strange event, and give serious, objective consideration to the possibility that you have experienced a type of event that you have never previously experienced.  In the years after 2001, I had many very strange experiences of a type I had never previously had. You may also experience such events. Such events can be very important clues about the fundamental nature of reality.  Record such clues, and ponder them. Remember: you are a reality detective. And good detectives do not discard clues. 

"String of Pearls" Orb Motion: A Retrospective (Part 4)

 What I call the "string of pearls" effect is an effect in which a photo seems to show multiple position states of an orb traveling very fast. Below is Part 4 of a retrospective of my photos showing such an effect.

Elizondo on Orbs

 I got out from the library the book Imminent Inside the Pentagon's Hunt for UFOs by Luis Elizondo, which you can buy using the link here. The dust jacket says Elizondo was once "head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat  Identification Program (AATIP), the Pentagon unit that researched UFOs." The first page of Chapter 6 looks like this:

On the next page (page 68) Elizondo reports that "one evening a green, glowing ball, probably about the size of a basketball, with soft edges that weren't defined, floated slowly from the kitchen to our bedroom door just below ceiling height, then disappeared into a wall." He says he and his wife saw this green orb for "the entire ten seconds it was in our house."  He says his children reported seeing something similar: a translucent green orb. On page 70 he reports additional sightings of mysterious orbs, saying the neighbors also saw them. 

Around pages 15 to 17 Elizondo reports spectacular-sounding spooky events in Brazil around 1977, weird occurrences in which sightings of baseball-sized orbs sound rather like the least strange thing reported. It makes fascinating reading. although we get no first-hand reports. On page 17 we are told that by one estimate "the body of evidence compiled on Colares includes more than 3,500 case files."  But since such claims are second-hand evidence, they may have less value as evidence than Elizondo's first-hand account of what he saw. 

On page 33 Elizondo says this about the Stargate program in which the US government trained people called remote viewers, who were basically clairvoyants. He states this:

"As a measure of the program's success that can be talked about, its psychics once located a Russian supersonic jet that had crashed somewhere over Africa. Our best satellite's couldn't locate it, and neither could the Russians. One of our remote viewers 'saw' and pinpointed the exact location of the downed aircraft in the Congo. The US was able to sweep in and salvage this valuable target, based on the remote viewer's visions alone. President Jimmy Carter famously referenced this case to the media. Remote viewers also located Brigadier General James Lee Dozier, who had been kidnapped in Italy by the Red Brigade in 1981." 

Elizondo then says he trained to be a remote viewer, and was successful. This seems to have preceded his sighting of mysterious orbs. It is interesting how once a person has had one type of paranormal experience, he may be more likely to have other types of paranormal experiences.  Long before I got my first mysterious orb in a photo, I had the most astounding success in a test of ESP with a sister of mine.  The test is described in my post here.
