"Sky Snake" Above the Purple Sky Orb

The photo below shows a strange snake-like luminosity above a purple sky orb above a building in New York City. There were no aircraft visible, and this is not the type of motion a plane would ever make. The snake-like sky luminosity resembles the ones seen here and here.

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.

The photo below shows a rather large orb (not the moon) above a building in New York City.  There's also something else very odd.

A closeup shows the strange anomaly. It might be a smaller orb moving very fast.

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.

The Sky Orb and the "Sky Worm"

The photo below shows a purple orb above a building in New York. In the right corner there's an unusual detail.

 Below is a closeup of the top right corner. We see something with a worm-like appearance. The appearance is too squiggly for it to be a passing plane (I observed none when the photo was taken).

The photo below shows the beautiful main building of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Above the building we see something very strange.

Below is a closeup of this strange anomaly.

This cannot be a bird, plane or insect, as no such thing moves in this type of utterly bizarre motion. I cannot see any orb-like parts here, so I must merely classify this under my "miscellaneous luminous anomalies" category rather than calling it a moving orb.

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 31.
