The photo below shows the beautiful main building of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Above the building we see something very strange.
Below is a closeup of this strange anomaly.
This cannot be a bird, plane or insect, as no such thing moves in this type of utterly bizarre motion. I cannot see any orb-like parts here, so I must merely classify this under my "miscellaneous luminous anomalies" category rather than calling it a moving orb.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air
quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 31.
