Fast Orb Hurtles Up the Met Life Building

The photo below shows the Met Life building in New York. We see an orb that seems to be speeding up (or down?) the building. My guess is that it was moving upward or downward much faster than one of the building's elevators.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 31.
