The photo below shows the Empire State Building in New York City. Above the tower top we see a mysterious orange orb that did not appear in any other photo I took of this tower top. There was a full moon this night, but when this photo was taken (9:42 PM) the moon was in the eastern sky, in a completely opposite direction (this photo was taken near the corner of Fifth Avenue and 34th street, pointing towards the west).

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night with very
clean air. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a
rating of 19 (anything below 50 is considered good).
