Ghostly Gallop of a Bright Moving Orb

The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York.  We see on the right a very bright moving orb that seems to be moving very rapidly.

Below is a closeup.  Note the blob of motion blur.

I photograph this type of anomaly almost every time I photograph at this location, and I now have 212 photos showing orbs that seem to be speeding (see here for some posters of them).
