The photo below was taken while photographing ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils. This one was very bright, and about 4 inches in width (my photo didn't catch the top of the object). We can see the concentric rings that commonly appear in such objects, as well as the pointy spikes that so often appear in my photos of such objects.
