The Purple Sky Orbs and the Giant Purple Orb

The photo below was taken on Fifth Avenue in New York. We see lots of purple orbs in the sky. Near the bottom of the photo, we see what looks like a giant purple orb (although we can only see the upper third of it).  See this link for more photos of giant purple orbs.

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 31.
