Night of the Orange Orbs

The photos below orange orbs near the Bank of America tower in New York City. First we see an orange orb that seems to be speeding, judging from its trailing "tail."

There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "moderate," with a rating of 51 that was almost good enough to qualify as "good."
