The photo below shows a strange snake-like luminosity above a purple sky orb above a building in New York City. There were no aircraft visible, and this is not the type of motion a plane would ever make. The snake-like sky luminosity resembles the ones seen here and here.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.
