A Striped Multicolored Sky Orb

The photo below shows a strange orb I photographed in the night sky. There are two strange aspects of the object: the many different colors we see in it (including green, orange, red, yellow, and purple), and the strange stripe.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation when I was photographing on this night.
