Did the Red Orb Laugh at the Joke?

The photo below shows a monolith about 10 feet tall. It's an art work (probably temporary) placed at the southeast corner of Central Park in New York. When you look at the words carved into stone, you see they are something that produces a chuckle: a shopping list. We see at the top a mysterious orb floating about. Did it laugh at the joke?

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. Above the same monolith I photographed a blue orb and a white orb, as shown here.
