I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. We see orbs with wave-like features in their lower halves.

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  We see orbs that look they have a crack near the right top edge. 

A Three-Part Orb Pattern

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  We see an orb pattern with three features.

The Stripes and the Holes

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background.  First, I got a pattern consisting of multiple horizontal stripes and two holes in each orb. 

Then I got a pattern consisting of a single vertical stripe and a single hole in each orb.
