The Orb Stripe Blended Seamlessly With the Architectural Line

The top photo below shows a mysterious orb I photographed at Grand Central Terminal in New York. It is the sixth mysterious orb I have photographed with a stripe resembling a hook or a cane. See here for five other examples of orbs with this type of hook-like stripe.  What is remarkable here is how the orb's stripe seems to blend seamlessly with an architectural line in the station, making it look as if the station's structural stripe had stretched outward to become an orb stripe.  It's a kind of positional synchronicity astonishingly unlikely to happen by chance.

This hook-stripe pattern is one of 20 recurring patterns I have noticed in mysterious orbs I have photographed. The visual below shows these patterns (see here for a post that shows lots of examples of most of these patterns).

The Orbs All Aligned With Architectural Edges

Below are five photos I took at Grand Central Terminal on April 17, May 8, May 15,  May17, and May 30 (in 2017).  In each photo we see a mysterious orb that has aligned with an architectural edge in the station.  I get this type of thing much, much more frequently than I would expect to see by chance (see here for hundreds of examples of aligning orbs).

Both Orbs Had the Same Mark at the Bottom

The photos below show two orbs I photographed on September 24, 2016 and September 27, 2016. Both had identical-looking marks at their bottom centers.  I would add this as the 21st case of a recurring orb pattern, but I can't think of any name to call this strange little mark at the bottom of these orbs.

(4) I have a Facebook page in which I have posted 800+ photos dating from December 2014 to April 2016. I gradually update that with new photos (although it doesn't have the past year's content).

Stripes of the Strange Orbs

Below are four striped orbs that I photographed indoors on May 23, 2017, May 26, 2017,  and May 29, 2017. With these photos I have now photographed 313 striped mysterious orbs in dry air.

The one on the bottom right is the fourth time I have photographed a mysterious orb with a J-shape inside it. Below are three other orbs with such a J-shape.

35 Bright Orbs

Sky Orbs Near the Towers

I took the photos below on May 8,  March 30,  March 17,  March 12,  February  23, and  March 13 (all in 2017).  We see six sky orbs near towers in New York City. None of these was the moon.

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on any of these nights while I was photographing.

Hurry-Up Haunting?

The photo below shows a mysterious orb that seems to be speeding very fast. We see another example of what I call the "string of pearls" effect I have 67 times previously photographed, in which the camera seems to have captured multiple position states of an object speeding very fast.

Quirks of the Dry Night

I took the photo below at the edge of a park area in New York City. We see a sky filled with orbs, one of them orange.

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.

I took the photos below on the same night. We see another orange orb.

Species of Strangeness

I took the photos below on April 2, 2017,  April 5, 2017,  May 3, 2017,  May 27, 2017, and May 28, 2017.  We see six mysterious orbs, two of which have an almost identical mark on their top right corners. The one on the bottom right has a strange stripe resembling an upside-down U.

The Blue Orb's "Pat on the Back"?

The "Belt" of the Baffling Ball

The top photo below shows a mysterious orb I photographed indoors.  Note the strange belt-like feature, which looks almost identical to the stripe in the orb shown in the lower photo (one I took on March 23, 2017, as posted here).  This is the 15th time I have photographed a belt-like stripe in a mysterious orb. A Cluster of Half Orbs

I took the photo below while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark background.  We see a baffling set of half orbs.  It kind of makes me ask: who chopped them up? See here for other photos of half orbs.

An Orange Sky Orb

The photo below shows a mysterious orb I photographed near two towers on Park Avenue in New York City.  It is one of more than 150 mysterious orange orbs I have photographed (as shown here).

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good."

Edge Enigmas

Bright Speeding Orbs

Confounding "Cane"

Twice Spooked

The photos below mysterious orbs near the same building in midtown Manhattan, on May 22, 2017 and May 17, 2017.  The moon was no bigger than a half-moon on these nights.

There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on either of these nights.

Another Orb Double Alignment

The photo below shows a mysterious orb I photographed at Grand Central Terminal, a place where I notice an unusually high number of cases of orbs exactly aligning with lines in the station. Here we have a double alignment:  the left top of the orb is aligned with one architectural line, and the right of the orb is aligned with another.  See here for other cases of orb double alignments.

Orb Makes a Shape Like That New Crop Circle

Today the Mysterious Universe web site has a post about a new crop circle that appeared this week. The crop circle has two overlapping circles, like a Venn diagram. The photo below shows a mysterious orb I photographed at Grand Central Terminal, an orb making a similar shape resembling a Venn diagram, in which we see overlapping circles.  I have often photographed mysterious orbs making such a shape, as you can see from these examples.
 

A Multicolored Sky Orb

Orb Nuzzles the Giant Statue's Cheek

I was very surprised to see a giant statue of a ballerina at Rockefeller Center, one that is much bigger than the famous statue of Prometheus at that location.  It's a new addition, one that is probably temporary.  Below we see the statue, along with a blue-gray orb that has exactly aligned with the statue's cheek.

I took the photo below while photographing nothing but pure, clean drops of water falling against a dark background. We see three orbs with face-like details, an effect I have observed many times since October 2014, as shown in this series of 300+ photos.
