The Orb Synchronicity Was Afterlife-Related

mysterious orb synchronicity

I have a tale about some afterlife-related synchronicity involving the photo above. First, I'll give some introductory comments. As I have recorded in my series of 27 posts here, I have at numerous times observed lights or other devices that seemed to mysteriously turn on "by themselves."  Many times I was there to see the light or device turn on mysteriously, as in the 50+ cases recorded in my post here. In other cases I may lock the front door of the house where I live, and go out on a walk, coming back to find the light above my front door on, although I was 99% sure that such a light was off when I locked the door.  The light can only be turned on from inside the house. This happened again today. After arriving back from a walk of about 30 minutes, I again was surprised to see the light above the front door on, as I remember it being off when I locked the door. There was someone else in the house working inside all day, but I have noticed this effect several times when there was no one else in the house.

After returning from my walk today, I continued to work and watch on my TV the "And Just Like That" series on HBO Max, a sequel to the "Sex and the City" series. Very soon they played the final episode of Season 1. In that episode the main character (Carrie) experiences something spooky. She finds that as she is going to bed, the light above her mysteriously turns on by itself. In the series Carrie has recently been widowed. In the series she wonders whether the spooky event of the light turning on by itself is a sign from her late husband.

I found the synchronicity between my experience today and seeing this on TV less than an hour later to be striking, as both involved someone getting the impression of a light above mysteriously turning on in a spooky way.  As the TV show depicted another example of the character Carrie seeing the light above her mysteriously turn on by itself, I got out my camera to take a photo. At the very moment my TV set showed the Carrie character being mystified by her spooky-acting light, I got the mysterious orb shown above.

Spook Snap?

Below is a news story published in 1932, which you can read using the link here:

Ghost Photo Reproduces Edgar Wallace

LONDON, Oct. 1 (I.N.S.).—A “ghost” picture sensation was
created here when John Myers, who claims to have perfected
a method of taking spirit photographs, reproduced a picture of
the late Edward Wallace.  Every protection was taken against fraud.
Besides two photographers and the medium, three other men were present at the experiment.

Five persons sat in a group
while Myers opened the shutter
of the camera and went into a
trance. After a few minutes he
came out of the trance and
closed the shutter. Another
plate was inserted, and this
time the medium went into a
longer trance, during which he cried out:
“I see Edgar.” When the plates were developed a few moments latter, a likeness of the famous writer of mystery stories appeared.

An Orb Rising Out of the Sea?

In the news account here, Sean David Morton describes an encounter he had with an orb that "invaded his ranch." He says this:

"It was a perfect sphere with orange-reddish pulsating light. The sphere came very close to us. Very, very close."

He also says that in 1991 he saw a "brilliant, glowing ball of light."   On the page here, the astronomer Camille Flammarion tells us this strange account of an orb rising out of the sea and rising up into the air:

"On November 12, 1887, a very curious instance of a fireball was noticed on the Atlantic.

It was at midnight, near Cape Race. An enormous fireball was seen to rise slowly out of the sea to the height of sixteen or seventeen metres. It travelled against the wind, and came quite near the vessel from which it was being watched. Then it turned towards the south-east and disappeared. The apparition lasted about five minutes."

On the page here, he says, "In some cases, fireballs have been seen to come down from the sky apparently, and then, after almost reaching but not actually touching the ground, to ascend again."

On the page here, Flammarion states this:

"Fireballs often keep within the frontiers of cloudland. They may be seen passing sometimes from one cloud to another in the high regions of the atmosphere.

On September 22, 1813, at seven in the evening, M. Louis Ordinaire saw a fireball leave a cloud at the zenith — the sky being very much lowering at the time — and go towards another. It was of a reddish yellow and extremely brilliant, lighting up the ground with a bright radiance.

He was able to follow its movements for at least a minute, and then saw it disappear into the second cloud."

On another page we read this strange account:

"On January 6, 1850, near Merlan, about six in the afternoon, a fireball burst above the heads of two men, enveloping them in a bluish light, without hurting them or even damaging their clothes, but giving them a momentary thrill as from an electric battery. It left no traces of any kind, not even a smell."

Mysterious Translucent Orb Found in Space, Trillions of Times Bigger Than the Sun, and Its Origin Is Unknown

We have in today's science news quite an interesting article, one entitled "Mysteriously Perfect Sphere Spotted in Space by Astronomers."  We read, "In data collected by a powerful radio telescope, astronomers have found what appears to be a perfectly spherical bubble."  The term "bubble" (suggesting something small) is inappropriate to describe what was found. The translucent orb found in space is trillions of times larger than the sun, and has a diameter of at least 11 light-years. A light-year is the distance that light travels in a year.

The article is based on a preprint that gives us an image of the mysterious translucent sphere, which scientists have named Teleios. The image is below:

Teleios, from the scientific paper here

The article immediately tries to suggest that scientists understand how this super-gigantic translucent sphere appeared. But the article misspeaks, because there is currently no credible explanation for this object. The article incorrectly states, "We know more or less what it is – it's the ball of expanding material ejected by an exploding star, a supernova remnant – but how it came to be is more of a puzzle." No, scientists do not know how this Teleios object originated, and do not know that it is a supernova remnant.

A supernova remnant is an expanding shell of gas that results from the explosion of a star much bigger than the sun.  The expanding shell of gas that comes from a supernova is often called a planetary nebula, which is an example of a poorly chosen phrase used by astronomers. So-called planetary nebulas are not planets and do not come from planets.

Astronomers have photographed very many planetary nebulas, very many supernova remnants. Such things typically have an irregular shape, not a perfectly circular shape. An example is the Crab Nebula shown below:

Credit: NASA, ESA, J. Hester and A. Loll (Arizona State University)

Using the link here, you can see photos of many supernova remnants (so-called planetary nebulas), and none of them have a perfectly circular shape. The closest thing to a perfect circle is the Bubble Nebula, which is less perfectly circular than the newly discovered Teleios object.

The article points out that scientists expected to detect X-rays from the Teleios translucent orb, but did not detect such X-rays, leaving them baffled. The article makes it clear that the scientists cannot even figure out how far away or how big this Teleios translucent orb is. But the object is thought to be at least 11 light-years across.  Our sun has a diameter only a ten-millionth of a light year. An object 11 light-years in diameter would be something like ten to the 24th power times larger than our sun: that is, more than 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times larger than the sun.

The article quotes scientists talking about the uncertainty of the object's origin. The scientists say this:

"All possible scenarios have their challenges, especially considering the lack of X-ray emission that is expected to be detectable given our evolutionary modelling. While we deem the Type Ia scenario the most likely, we note that no direct evidence is available to definitively confirm any scenario and new sensitive and high-resolution observations of this object are needed."

Given such uncertainty, it is inappropriate for the scientists to have entitled their preprint "Teleios (G305.4-2.2) -- the mystery of a perfectly shaped new Galactic supernova remnant." They do not know that the mysterious translucent orb they have observed is a supernova remnant.  In the preprint, the authors make a confession, followed by some bad reasoning:

"Teleios’s unusually close-to-perfect circular shape, steep radio spectral index (α = –0.6±0.3), weak polarisation signature and low surface brightness are rather challenging to reconcile with typical SNR [supernova remnant] characteristics. However, despite only confirmed radio-continuum emission, there is little doubt that Teleios is a Galactic SNR as no other known source type could better fit its radio properties."

The last sentence does not make any sense. You are not entitled to conclude that some strange-looking thing is an example of some known type of thing merely because "no other known source type could better fit its properties."  For example, if you see a gigantic flying saucer hovering in the air, you are not entitled to conclude that it is probably a helicopter because "no other known source type could better fit its properties."  There is no rule that strange-looking things must be examples of types of things that are already known and understood. Strange-looking things may well be examples of types of things that are not already known and not understood.

Did the Orb Foretell the Loss of "Australia's Titanic"?

Below is part of a newspaper account in the June 10, 1944 edition of Psychic News, which you can read here. We read of a clairvoyant who claimed to sometimes get paranormal notifications arriving by means of a ball of light:

prophetic mysterious orb

A web page gives us the details on what happened to the line Waratah:

"The SS Waratah, sometimes referred to as 'Australia's Titanic', was a 500 foot steamer. In July 1909, the ship, en route from Durban to Cape Town, disappeared with 211 passengers and crew aboard. The disappearance of the ship remains one of the most baffling nautical mysteries of all time. To this day no trace of the ship has ever been found."

Not the Spookiest Thing I've Seen From a Clock

Last night I began to eat dinner with a family member at maybe about 7:10 PM.  We had a fairly long conversation, and after completing dinner I glanced up at the battery-powered wall clock. It showed a time of only about 7:17. I looked at the time on my tablet device. It was 7:37. Somehow the clock had lost 20 minutes. As I typically look at the clock before starting dinner, I knew that the discrepancy was a recent one. The clock had the right time on several recent days.

I reset the clock to the right time, setting it 20 minutes ahead of its displayed time. I wondered: was this just a case of the battery running down? A check of the clock 14 hours later showed it still had the right time. Apparently it was not a matter of the battery running down.

This case of the clock mysteriously dropping 20 minutes from its displayed time is not the strangest thing I've seen from a clock. In my post here, I describe very many strange occurrences with a combined clock and sound machine. In that post I have a video showing very clearly the digits of the machine's clock fading in and out mysteriously.

There are numerous accounts of spooky events involving clocks. Below is an account of a grandfather clock that worked fine for 30 years before mysteriously stopping at the hour of its owner's death, with parts of the clock falling.

Below is an account of a clock that seemed to foretell or announce deaths of members of the Danbury Hat Makers Association (presumably having few members):

You can read the story here:

Below is a newspaper account of two clocks stopping at the time of the same person's death:

On the page here, we read, "The New York papers also give a good deal of space to the fact that John Judge, a New York saloon keeper, died in his saloon and at the very moment of his death the
saloon clock stopped."

Below is a newspaper account of a clock that stopped once at the hour of a family member's death, and also stopped at a very different hour when another member of the same family died.

Postscript: It is now May 22, and the wall clock that mysteriously lost 20 minutes on May 8 has operated normally since I reset its time to the correct time 14 days ago, without replacing its battery. The clock still displays the correct time.
