Translate Interface Bug Corrected

 I was sad to discover that with the Blogger settings I had been using, it was not even possible for the users of some languages to switch to their preferred language. The problem has been fixed, and using the Translate button at the top right, you should be able to translate this blog to any desired language.

Orb With a Curved Stripe

We see below a mysterious orb I photographed indoors. There is a curved stripe, and to the left of that stripe I can see a number 6. 

The Air Force Undersecretary's Orb Encounter

 Matthew Lohmeier was recently confirmed as Undersecretary of the United States Air Force. In an interview you can read here, he described an encounter he had with a mysterious orb:

"It's not common, it's rather rare, of these balls of light that seem to zip around the flight lines and be able to defy the known laws of physics, incredibly fast. And they were like big orbs of light, orange or yellowish in color. And I paused the film, and I remembered as odd as that sounds that I'd seen the exact same thing in high school when I was in the mountains in Arizona...This ball of light that we saw descending down over our head got close enough for me to look at it and into it. And it seemed to be buzzing with life, but it wasn't man-made. It was very well-organized, very spherical, and it seemed to be very conscious of the two of us that were sitting there in the Arizona Mountains like it was observing us. And it was a distinct impression that I had that I was being watched, observed, that there was a level of interest from the orb to us, and it frightened us. And so we got up, and we ran to the car, and we ran away, and that thing zipped up and disappeared in the sky."

Pink Sky Orbs: A Retrospective (Part 6)

 Below are some photos I previously took of mysterious pink orbs in the sky. All of the photos were taken in clean, dry air when there was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation.

In my photo below, we see the skyline of New York, as viewed from across the East River. We see a mysterious pink orb that seems to be speeding downward.

My photo below shows a big pink orb floating above a tower in Manhattan.  This wasn't the moon (little more than a half moon on this day), and did not appear in other sky photos taken from the same angle at the same time.

In my photo below of a New York City tower top, we see a pink orb floating mysteriously, like some nymph of the sky.

My photo below shows the Chrysler Building in New York. We see a pink orb floating mysteriously. It almost seems to be attracted to the light from the window, like some moth attracted to a light.

My photo below shows a bunch of orbs above a building in New York City. In the middle of the swarm of purple orbs, we see a bright pink orb.

My photo below shows a pink orb that seems to be speeding upward in the sky. It reminds me of some jellyfish rising up from the depths of the ocean.

Pink Sky Orbs: A Retrospective (Part 5)

Below are some photos I previously took of mysterious pink orbs in the sky. All of the photos were taken in clean, dry air when there was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation.

Purple Recurrences

 My late mother's favorite color was purple, and she was very fond of wearing purple clothes. The last conversation I had with my late sister (occurring quite a few years ago) was one involving the paranormal and a purple flower. I asked my sister whether she had ever experienced something paranormal or something she could not explain. She told me she had some experience involving purple flowers she could not explain. It seems that after my mother's death there were some purple flowers that had appeared  unexpectedly in my sister's garden, and that one of the flowers survived very much longer than expected.

The backyard of the house where I live is pure concrete. At one of its edges is a thin strip of dirt that seems to offer no encouragement for any natural plant growth (we never water it or put fertilizer there). From that thin strip I have seen over the past few years quite a few purple flowers arising, in a way that surprised me. You can see quite a few of them in my post here. One of the purple flowers shown in that post was an amaranth plant, which since ancient times has been a symbol of immortality. Below is the latest of the purple flowers to appear. They seem to be begonias.

Postscript: Below is the latest bunch of these purple flowers, and not shown are a whole other bunch of similar-looking purple planets near them.

Pulsating Mysterious Orb Seen by Couple

 The mainstream Science Alert site has a recent article that includes a link to a startling video. We see a big white pulsating ball of light at the edge of a field. A pair of named witnesses say they saw the object for about 23 seconds. We have a video that shows the object very clearly for about 20 seconds.  In the video we have an interview with some authority speculating that the mysterious orb may have been "ball lightning."  But scientists do not understand why lightning would form into balls. In the same article we read, " Some have even reported fiery orbs flying through their windows."

The page here lists various recent UFO sightings in the state of New York. 7 of the first 12 are categorized as "orb" or "sphere." 

Freaky Fall

 Below we see a fan I was using today. There seemed to be no possibility of it toppling, as it was supported by an extremely heavy base with the weight of marble, and also because I had used an extremely thick, strong and wide tape called Gorilla Tape (wider and thicker than duct tape) to secure the fan on both sides, affixing it to its base, making sure the heavy tape went several inches up the fan on both sides (6 inches on the right side), and about four inches down the base on both sides. 

I had run the fan for more than a half an hour, when I started to read some paper discussing the percentage of widows or widowers who report something like "contact with the dead" after the death of their spouse, which can take different forms such as an apparition sighting, the hearing of a voice, or a feeling of a sense of presence.  A few minutes later as I sat more than a meter away both units shown above mysteriously crashed to the ground, falling backward. Was there any causal connection between this mysterious event and what I was reading a few minutes earlier?  We cannot tell. 

Postscript: Today I went to get a thumb drive I keep in a suit pocket, to back up some files. In one of my suit pockets I found a "ghost detector" palm-sized unit I had bought years ago (basically a detector of magnetism at the milligauss level).  The detector was turned on, and its red light was flashing. The main oddity was that the device was turned on. It's a device I always leave off, to avoid draining its battery. This is one of countless cases I have seen in which lights or electrical devices seem to mysteriously turn on, as if some invisible hand was at work. In the past two days there were two spooky cases of misplaced objects, involving things (my wife's house keys and a remote control device I don't use) surprisingly found on floors where they do not belong.

Below is one of the most extraordinary photos I have ever taken, one showing two striped pink sky orbs right next to each other. They are both surrounded by a kind of red aura.

 My photo below shows a pink orb I photographed, one that seems to be positioned very precisely atop the spire of the famous Chrysler Building in New York.  The cloudy brightness to the left is the moon behind some clouds.  Directly under the pink orb is a smaller purple orb. Were the two orbs playing "king of the hill" like school boys?
