Speeding Orb On Grand Central Station Ceiling

In this photo taken in Grand Central Station, we see an orb that seems to be moving very quickly. We see the effect that photographers call "ghosting," caused when an object is moving much faster than a camera's shutter speed. The camera had an effective shutter speed of about 1/1000 of  a second, and an object must be moving very fast to produce this effect.


Below is a closeup of the orb, in which we seem a lot of motion blur caused by a fast speed of the object.
