They Like to Rest on This Balcony
The photos below were taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York (the first one is from April 28, 2016 and the second from May 2, 2016). Both show a mysterious orb seeming to rest on a balcony above an escalator.
The first photo was cropped from a larger photo showing a much larger orb on the right side of the escalator:
