The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops
of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. At the bottom we see one of the things I call orb veils. This is an example of one of 18 types of orb veils I have identified, what I call the "cape-like" type, which resembles a child's drawing of a ghost. At the top we see another orb veil which rather resembles a bird. We can even see a "bird leg" coming out of this "bird."
On the same day I got this other photo of orb veils, which shows the "stacking" behavior so often seen with these things...
