The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some of the strange things I call orb veils. These three are a type I call the "cape-like" type, which rather resemble a child's drawing of a ghost. There are 17 other types shown here.
