I have published more than 40 photos showing mysterious orbs aligned to the edge of the big flag in Grand Central Terminal. Now that some Christmas wreaths have been installed in the station, it looks like the orbs are playing a new alignment game, one we might call "align to the Christmas wreaths."

Tree Symbol in the Orb?

Orbs Over Turkey
The interesting "Mysterious Universe" site (www.mysteriousuniverse.org) is reporting today that there have in recent days been many visual reports of mysterious orbs in the skies over the nation of Turkey. The site says the following:
The photographs generally show a cluster of four or five orbs (although some show up to twice that many) or lights, usually in the shape of a triangle or wedge. The photographs show the orbs in a cluster to be the same size, although one alleged to have been taken on the same night shows a large light orbited by smaller ones.
Such reports should come as no surprise, as the National UFO Reporting Center has logged 12,000 reports of visible orbs seen in the past 3 years, as I discussed in this post.

Segregation of the Sky Orbs?
Photo date: November 28, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
In the photo at left, we see two white orbs on the left, and two purple orbs on the right. Do they like to "stick with their own kind," like humans? The orange object on the right wasn't the moon, for the night was nearly moonless.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good." The pollen count listed on www.pollen.com was "low," with a level of 0.1.

She Saw Orbs After Her Neighbor Died
The following remarkable account regarding orbs comes to us from Jo Mooy:
Though I’ve seen Orbs in my photographs since 2003; I’ve also seen Orbs without a camera and witnessed them “powering up” when spoken to. The most remarkable occurrence was two days after the death of my neighbor. The lights in my house began to flicker on and off. When I ventured into the living room I saw two very large Orbs near the ceiling. Realizing Kathy had just passed I asked, “Is that you, Kathy?” At that moment, one of the Orbs powered up brightly and stayed that way for about ten seconds. Knowing Kathy wanted to be with her mother who had previously passed over, I asked “Is that your mother with you?” And the second Orb powered up. Eventually, they both faded from view, but not before being documented by two people in the house.
Below is a speeding orb I photographed in the sky on November 26, 2016. We see a prominent pink aura.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 33. The pollen count listed on www.pollen.com was "low," with a level of 0.1.

Orbs During Near-Death Experiences?
A web site on near-death experiences says, "Many
near-death accounts describe encounters with
orbs." The page gives quite a few examples.
In his latest post Michael Prescott reviews a book on near-death experiences entitled "Near Death in the ICU." He says, "One common thread involves seeing a spiritual being (or more than one) in the form of a glowing point of light or a luminous orb." He quotes a passage from the book discussing one person's near-death experience:
[Marlene] soon became distracted by the presence of a soft blue orb of light that came into view on the opposite side of the room. ... While the orb was slowly approaching, she noticed that the voices below [in the hospital] became thinner and more distant while the visual scene grew ever smaller and more remote, as if she were looking through the wrong end of a telescope. As the orb, about the size of a beach ball, came to rest in front of her, she felt overwhelmed with emotion and intense feelings of peace, love and complete safety.
I can't say I have ever had such a experience, but I have photographed more than 750 blue orbs, most of them at Grand Central Terminal. Below is another one I photographed on November 26, 2016.

Nuzzling Luminosities?
Photo date: November 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
With a photo such as this (taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York), it's hard to tell whether we are seeing two position states of a single mysterious orb moving fast, or two orbs nuzzling together.

Still More Speeding Orbs
The photo poster below is a composite of 40 orb photos previously
published on this site. You can find all of the original photos by
looking at my posts labeled "speeding air orb" between April 1, 2016
and November 26, 2016. These photos all show orbs that appear to be
moving
very fast. Open the photo in a separate browser tab to see the poster
at its full resolution.
No flying insects were observed by me during any of the days when these photos were taken. Some of the photos show undulating or sharp-turn motion of a type that neither insects nor birds nor dust particles ever make.
If you look at the original photos, you will see that each of the anomalies was photographed well away from the edge of the photo. Given this fact and the fact that I have short hair, we cannot explain any of these photos as being a stray hair from the photographer, nor can any be explained as a photo of a camera strap.
We also cannot explain these orbs as dust, as all of them seem to be showing very rapid motion. Indoor dust particles move at only about 2 miles per hour, and the outdoor wind speed was never more than 20 miles an hour when any of these photos were taken. But we see here objects that seem to be moving very fast, many times faster than 20 miles an hour. The photos were taken with cameras that have an effective shutter speed of about 1/1000 of a second (that's for a flash photo, and all of these are flash photos). All of the original photos were taken when the camera was held steady (with nothing other than the orb appearing to show motion). Under such conditions, an object must be moving very fast to appear like the items in the photos above.
None of the photos showing orbs with "comet tails" can be explained as raindrops, as none of the outdoor photos were taken when there was any fog, mist, rain, or precipitation.

Andrea's Orb Veils
I discovered today that the Facebook page of Andrea Corsick has many astonishingly beautiful and colorful photos of the strange objects I call orb veils. Her photos can be accessed here (you will have to login to Facebook first). I've added her site to my list of 38 sites or pages showing orb photos and other paranormal photos, which you can access here.
I've been photographing these strange orb veil objects for nearly two years, and it's remarkable to see how similar some of Andrea's photos are to mine, such as the polygons with lots of spiky edges, and the frequent occurrence of orange colors. In this photo, for example, she shows veil-like objects with circular spots and stripe features just like those I have photographed myself (for example, in this subset). She also has some examples of striped orbs (for example, here) -- something I get in great abundance.
Another photographer on Facebook (Diana Davatgar) has a photo of a spiky-edged orb veil you can see here.

The Distant Orbs Were Like Perching Birds
I took the photos below on July 13, 2016 and October 15, 2016. In both we see orbs that seem to be partially behind distant architectural features. The orb on the left seems to be partially behinds some lights, and the orb on the right seems to be partially behind a protruding detail of an ornamental window.

The 4 Sharp Turns of the Speeding Orb
Photo date: November 23, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Below is one of the most astonishing photos I have taken of a speeding orb. The orb has made 4 sharp turns, three of which are right-angle turns. Motion like this is impossible for any natural thing that we know of, whether it be dust, birds, or insects. What we see also cannot possibly be a floating hair, as there are too many right-angles. You can photograph 1000 falling hairs, and none will ever look like this.
There were no insects observed when the photo was taken. The path of motion had an apparent length of about 1 meter.
Click here to see three videos I have made showing hundreds of speeding orbs.

Spooky Surveillance?

The photo below shows a peach-colored orb that rather seems to be making a close inspection of a building in New York City.

The Stonehenge Orb
Photo date: November 20, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
I was watching the grand old movie Knights of the Round Table, and noticed that one scene was set at Stonehenge. I wondered: might the image of this mystical ancient spot make an orb more likely to appear? Sure enough, an orb showed up when I took a photo.

Mysterious Orange Orb Perches Likes a Bird on a Branch
Photo date: November 19, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a mysterious orange orb I photographed last night. If I lived in Florida, I might identify this as a large orange growing on a tree. But there are no outdoor citrus fruit trees in New York City.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation while I was photographing on this night.

Halloween Orbs
Photo date: October 31, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
Below are two mysterious orbs I photographed on Halloween. There wasn't much of a spike in orb activity on this Halloween, although I did get on this Halloween the incredibly spooky occurrence of my toilet inexplicably flushing twice while no one was in the bathroom (something that has not occurred in November).
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.

Animal Face in the Sky Orb?
Photo date: November 19, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a rather large orb I photographed near a building in New York City.
Below is a closeup. To me it looks a little like a dog or fox head, with a dark snout tip at the end, and a pointy ear on the right. But I'll admit it's not clear enough to identify an image with any confidence.

Haunted Window?
Photo date: November 18, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photos below show the same ticket window or information window at a corner location at Grand Central Terminal in New York. In each photo we see a mysterious orb. Were they waiting for the little window to open?

Green Orb Video
There is an interesting video on the "UFO Sightings Daily" website. A witness was making a video of the moon, and was surprised to see a green orb show up, with an apparent size of about the moon. The orb appears at the 51 second mark in the video.
The 5th Sky Orb I've Photographed With This Type of Diagonal Stripe
Photo date: November 18, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a striped orb I photographed to the right of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York. There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.
I have four times previously photographed a sky orb that looks like this. Here are some previous photos, as described here, here and here).
Below is my revised table listing recurring motifs I have photographed in mysterious orbs. Besides the 5 orbs shown above (with a diagonal stripe not stretching the full length of the orb), I have also photographed 6 other mysterious orbs with a diagonal stripe stretching the full length of the orb (see below for the link).

Paranormal Pair-Up?
Photo date: November 18, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows two orbs I photographed above a building in New York City. Were they nuzzling each other?
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.
