Ten Position States of the Speeding Orb

We see below a mysterious speeding orb I photographed last night in Grand Central Terminal. We see once again the "string of pearls" effect I have many times photographed, in which we seem to see multiple position states of an object speeding fast. In this case you can count at least 10 individual orb position states that the camera has captured.

There is simply nothing known to man that moves like this. It can't be a bird, an insect, or a dust speck, because such things don't move in so convoluted a path.  Nor can it be a hair, which would never have this kind of W-shape. Throw hair and dust in front of your camera all day long, and take pictures; and you will never get a photo that looks like this.  Based on the length and the number of position states, I estimate this orb was moving at hundreds of miles an hour.

The Third Blue Orb I've Photographed Recently at This Arch Top

The first photo below shows a mysterious blue orb I photographed last night in front of a window at Grand Central Terminal in New York. The two lower photos show two other orbs I photographed at the same position (or a very similar position) on February 21, 2017, as reported here.  Note that in all three cases the orb is just a little to the right of the top of the arch.

Orb Veil and Its Orange Clone

I took the photo below while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark background. We see two of the strange objects I call orb veils, and they both have the exact same distinctive shape. But only one has a bright color.

"F" Is For "Freaky"

I took the photo below while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark background. At the top we see some orbs with strange little holes, and near the bottom we see an orb with the letter "F" letter inside it.

Enduring Enigma

I took the photo below while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark background. We see another example of the strange, strange water face effect that I have observed since October 2014.  At least four of the orbs seem to have face-like details.

Like Sky Peaches

Orbs Reappearing at the Same Spot

The poster below shows quite a few examples of mysterious orbs that seemed to reappear at the same spot. See here for the original photos.  The one in the top left corner is particularly striking, as we see the reappearance at the same spot of two purple orbs with the same "one piece missing from the pie" look.

The Weird Sidekick of the Column of Crescents

I took the photo below while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure clean water falling against a dark background. We see one of the strange objects I call orb veils. The object appeared with an apparent size of about 6 inches, taking up 60% of the original photo height. We see some of the typical characteristics of orb veils: a polygon shape with lots of spiky points, a kind of membrane-like edge, and lots of little internal circles. Blue Orbs Appearing at the Exact Same Spot?

The photos below show two mysterious blue orbs I photographed in front of windows at Grand Central Terminal in New York. Interestingly, they seemed to have appeared at the exact same spot, at a position just a little to the right of the top of the window arch.  Was this coincidence, or one orb imitating another orb? You can see here lots of other cases of mysterious orbs reappearing at the same spot.

The Smaller Orb Was Surpassed

In the photo below we see a small orb near an entrance of Grand Central Terminal, an orb that is quite surpassed by the larger and brighter orb at the top of the photo.

The first photo below (taken on February 4, 2017) shows a mysterious orb next to the UN building in New York. The other two photos (taken on February 19, 2017) show orbs near St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.  The moon was a half-moon on both of these nights.

A feature I frequently observe in mysterious orbs is an outer ring. A small fraction of mysterious orbs have such rings. The diameter of the ring is about 80% of the total diameter of the orb. The photo below shows a fast blue orb I photographed in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We can see the "string of pearls" effect I very often photograph, in which we seem to see multiple position states of a fast-speeding orb.

On the same day at a different location I photographed the blue orb below. We see again the outer ring I often notice in mysterious orbs.

The Three Weird Things About This Orb

The photo below shows a strange orb I photographed near a high window in Grand Central Terminal. We see an odd flat edge that I don't very often see in orbs. There's also a thick stripe. One side of the orb has a kind of blue glow, and the other side of the orb has a yellow-green glow.
