The 1923 book "My Experiences While Out of My Body, and My Return After Many Days" by Cora Richmond is a fantastic-sounding tale of ethereal psychic experience. It is presented as if it is a true narrative, although the details are so mystical and strange that many a reader will wonder whether it is all just a product of a runaway imagination. On page 79 the author describes angels as "these perfect orbs of light." On page 82 the author states this:
"No human language is in the smallest degree adequate to portray the ecstasy produced by the vision... of this all-glorious state! Orb on orb of transcendent beauty, sphere on sphere of celestial splendor!"
