Split Aura of the Diamond-Shaped Floater
Photo date: April 28, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a blue orb with an unusual diamond shape. I photograph blue circle-shaped objects like this very frequently at this location, but it is rare to see a diamond-shaped one.
A closeup shows the "split aura" effect I often see in orbs: an aura that is half one color, half some some other color.

A Double-Striped Orb and a Triple-Striped Orb
Photo date: April 28, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some of the strange objects I call striped orbs. One of them has two parallel stripes, and another has three parallel stripes.

A Congruent Trio of Orb Veils
Photo date: April 27, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see three of the strange objects I call orb veils. This type is what I call the cape-like type, and is one of 18 types I have identified (as shown in this image). I have 49 times observed these orb veils in congruent stacks, as you can see from this series.
Another type is the triangular type, an example of which is shown below. We see six triangles that have no business being there when water is being photographed.

Bright Speeding Orb Above Their Heads
Photo date: April 28, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a bright fast orb above the heads of some commuters in the station. Those commuters may be hurrying, but this thing is so much faster.

Return of the Blue Sky Blob
Photo date: April 28, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
I have two previous times published photos of a strange blue blob in the sky. On this night I photographed the same weird thing. It showed up again and again in a series of photos taken over five minutes.

Three Parallel Stripes on This Water Drop Orb
Photo date: April 27, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see an example of the strange things I call striped orbs, which I have photographed 20 previous times, both in the sky and in water drops. This example is quite striking. Not only do we see three striped orbs, but one of the orbs has three parallel stripes.

The Freakiest Flags
Photo date: April 27, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see on the left two things that look just like flags on a flagpole.
When I see weirdness like this when photographing water drops, the weirdness tends to appear with two or or more repetitions of the same weird thing. We see this also in the photo below. I have no description for the type of shape we see here, but it is very unusual and repeated four times.

Orb Reappearance?
The photo at left was taken on April 26, 2016, and the one on the right was taken one day earlier. We see what looks like the same orb reappearing on the same arch. Call it "orb deja vu."
Colorful Orbs Float Above the Roofs
Photo date: April 27, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
In the composite photo below, we see a purple orb and an orange orb floating mysteriously above the roofs of New York City buildings. I photograph very many of these purple and orange orbs floating about in the sky.
There was no fog, mist, rain or precipitation on this night.

Red Crescent and Its White Crescent Pals

The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see two types of anomalous things: what I call orb crescents and what I call orb veils. The red orb crescent is very rare, but I have photographed white orb crescents many times.

Like Some Flock of Ghostly Birds
Photo date: April 27, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken while photographing nothing but ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling against a dark featureless background. We see some of the strange things I call orb veils. After months in which I photographed these wispy things very frequently, taking a spectacular series of photos of them, I had for most of this year a kind of "orb veil drought" in which I would hardly ever get them (despite no change in my photographic procedure). But today I photographed many of them. It is very strange how they appear in surges, with lots of them showing up on particular days (which might be followed by many days in which none appear).
Another photo from the same day shows the same weird effect.

The Weirdness Above the Weirdness
Photo date: April 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a church in New York City. Near the bottom we see a strange glow in the sky, which appeared even though it was about 90 minutes after sunset. Near the top we see a bright orb that was not the moon, and did not appear in other photos taken from this spot.

Fast Orb Above the Commuters
Photo date: April 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a bright orb that seems to be speeding above the people below it. Below it is a sign that says, "If you see something, say something." What about unusual paranormal activity in the station (as I very frequently photograph) -- are we supposed to officially report that?
The photo below from the same day showed something very similar-looking.

An Eerie Balcony
Photo date: April 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

Was It Reading His Digital Device?
Photo date: April 26, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.

Quadruple Turn of the Moving Orb
Photo date: April 25, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York, On the left we see what looks like an orb that is making an utterly inexplicable path of motion that involves 4 changes of direction.
Below is a closeup of the strange thing on the left.
There is simply no way to explain a sight like this though any known natural explanation. It cannot be a bird, an insect, or a speck of dust. You could photograph birds, insects, and floating specks of dust for a thousand years, and you would never get a single one like this that displayed a path of motion with 4 changes of direction inside a compact space. It cannot be a floating hair, because floating hairs never look this wavy. It cannot be some distortion of some background light, because there is no light at this spot -- there is nothing but a solid stone column.
See here for 48 photos I have of orbs making inexplicable paths of motion like this.

It Rose Mysteriously
Photo date: March 29, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a bright orb that seems to be rising up at high speed above a building in New York City.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 17 (anything below 50 is considered good).

Was She Orb-Targeted?
Photo date: April 25, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York, and shows one of the transparent blue orbs that I photograph so often floating around the station. Sometimes these mysterious orbs seem to focus on particular individuals, which is how it looks in this photo.

Orb With a Blue Tail?
Photo date: April 25, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York, and shows one of the unusual windows in the station. We see a bright blue orb that looks different from the orbs I typically photograph here. This one almost looks like it has a blue tail. But it's probably a streak-of-motion kind of thing, and the sunlight is blocking us from seeing the full trailing streak of motion.

Still More Purple Sky Orbs
The composite photo below shows various photos I have taken of purple
orbs in the sky. Open the photo in a separate browser tab to see it at
higher resolution. You can look at this
stream of photos to see the original posts in which these photos
appeared. None of these objects was the moon, and all appeared in spots
of the sky where the moon was not visible. See here for other similar posters.
They Like to Appear Atop the Great Arch
Photo date: April 20, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a mysterious orb at the exact top of one of the two great arches in the station.
Now you may say that this was just a coincidence. But on the same day I took another photo showing the same thing. It is below.
What is the chance of you coincidentally getting two such photos on the same day -- maybe one in a million?
See here for 5 other photos showing the same thing -- an orb atop one of the great arches at this location.

The photos below were taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. Each photo shows a mysterious orb that looks as if it has deliberately aligned with an architectural element of the station. I see this kind of thing all the time, much more often than I expect to see by chance.

Feminine Floater?
Photo date: April 22, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York. We see a mysterious pink orb floating near one of the huge windows in the station.
It is much more common for me to photograph blue orbs at this location, as shown in the photo below from April 16, 2016. Should we call this a paranormal gender bias?

Big Orb Above the Tower
Photo date: April 20, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below shows a large purple orb above a building in midtown Manhattan. The original photo has been reduced in width, but not in height. The orb was ten percent of the original photo height. Given a width in front of the camera of about 15 millimeters (15,000 microns), a speck of dust would have to have a size of about 1500 microns to appear this large. But the dust particles floating about in outdoor air are only about 1 micron in size, and always reduce visibility when they are larger than 100 microns. Their was no reduced visibility when the photo was taken.

The Blue Orb's Favorite Resting Place?
The photos below show a security camera in Grand Central Terminal in New York (the first was taken on April 15, 2016 and the second on April 20, 2016). Both of the photos show a blue orb atop the security camera. You would think perhaps this blue orb was some permanent physical feature, but it wasn't. On these days I took quite a few photos showing this camera, and these were the only two showing this orb.

Mystery Trio
Photo date: April 22, 2016. Photographer: Mark Mahin.
The photo below was taken in Grand Central Terminal in New York, and shows the West Balcony of the station, where I have long photographed strange-looking sights. In this case we seem to see something very odd: a trio of figures with ghostly-looking heads. What is very strange is the photo shows a number of details very clearly: the detail of the balcony columns, the handrail, the stair steps, and what looks like straps on the figures. But the heads have a weird ghostly look to them.
