Blue Orbs Above the Flags

The photo at left shows a blue orb that appeared above a flag on this night, and the photo at right shows another blue orb that appeared above a different flag. Neither orb was the moon, which was only a crescent moon on this night.
There was no rain, fog, mist or precipitation on this night. The air quality listed on airnow.gov was "good," with a rating of 22 (anything below 50 is considered good).
