"Lollipop" Motif Was a Repeating Orb Pattern

I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a dark featureless background.  They all show the same pattern: a pattern in which we see an oval shape connected to a line on one side (which gives a shape resembling the top of a lollipop).
