I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. On this day I got a two-part pattern consisting of a pickle-like hole on the top right of orbs and a small circle on the ring in the lower part of orbs. The pattern persisted through almost all of 100 consecutive photos.
