The old movie "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" has a great ending. We see Mrs. Muir (played by Gene Tierney) as an old woman, many years after she had encounters with a ghost (played by Rex Harrison). The old Mrs. Muir takes a glass of milk to drink, but then drops it to the ground, and dies. Suddenly the soul of Mrs. Muir (appearing as a young woman) rises up out of the dead body, and is greeted by the ghost. The two happily walk out of the house together. I took a photo of my TV seconds before the movie ended, and got the strange orb shown below.
