The photo below (taken indoors) shows what I have been photographing with increasing frequency: a striped orb. About half of my 42 photos of striped orbs show stripes like this one: a thick stripe stretching from one side of the orb to the other. I defy anyone to produce a photo of any natural particle that has such a stripe.
