"Sawed" Orbs Both Align on the Same Line

The photos below were taken at Grand Central Terminal, on July 24, 2016 and July 30, 2016. In both we see what I call a "sawed" orb, an orb that rather looks like the left part of it has been sawed off (other examples can be seen here).  What is very strange is that the tops of both of these orbs are aligned with the same architectural line.  Could this be some kind of weird orb habit?
