I took the photos below while photographing only ordinary drops of pure, clean water falling in front of a black featureless background. On this day I got several hundred photos showing multiple orbs with a column of three orb holes, which appeared only on the left side of an orb. In every one of these cases, the top hole in this column was the biggest, and the bottom hole in this column was smallest (so that the three circles looked rather like an upside-down snowman).
